Wisdom teeth extracractions

Well, it is done. I got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled! YAY! I must say, it wasn't bad at all. I was put to sleep, so I don't remember a thing. The oral surgeon said that it was really a simple extraction, because all 4 teeth were already out of the gum. I think it took 45 minutes all together. I was asleep the car ride home, which only took about 15 minutes. When I got home David put me in bed, and then put my jaw bra ice pack on me. I was bleeding quite a bit, so we changed my gauze twice. I left the gauze out after the second round. You're not supposed to leave them in, so that way a blood clot can form over the hole, and then the healing begins. I was extremely numb, so whenever I drank something, I would spill all over myself. Other than that I just took it easy the rest of the day, drank A LOT of fluids, and then David got me a chocolate moo'd from jamba juice. I was not allowed to rinse or brush my teeth for the first 24 hours. The next day I started with salt water rinses. One thing that was super annoying, was that anytime I ate something, it would get stuck in the holes. I guess they don't use stitches when its not that invasive. Even when I would swish with water it wouldn't come out. Eventually it did, which was awesome. Overall happy I'm happy it wasn't bad, I had like no swelling, and the holes are small, as you can see in this picture below.
